7 articlesYMM stands for Year/Make/Model. Instead of customers needing to know the exact part number (which most don't), they select their vehicle and the site shows compatible parts. This reduces phone calls, increases conversions, and works 24/7 without staff involvement.
For example: A customer with a 2018 Ford Focus can search "brake pads" and see only parts that fit their specific car, not every brake pad in your inventory.
Registered trade customers (garages, mechanics) log into your site and see their personalised pricing. You set discount rates per customer or customer group in WooCommerce. This means garages can check trade prices themselves without calling you, and they're more likely to order online when they know they're getting their discount.
Yes. We use WP All Import Pro to handle bulk product imports from CSV files. You can import product names, SKUs, descriptions, prices, images, categories, and stock levels. We set this up for you during the build and train you on how to do updates yourself going forward.
If your supplier provides a data feed, we can often automate the import so your site stays up to date with stock and pricing automatically.
We typically set up Stripe and/or PayPal for card payments, plus bank transfer options for trade accounts. WooCommerce supports many other gateways including Sage Pay, Klarna, and others on request. We'll recommend the best combination based on your customer base during our audit call.
6 weeks from kick-off to launch. This includes template customisation, product import, payment gateway setup, testing, and two rounds of revisions. The timeline assumes you provide feedback within 2 business days at each stage.
Yes. We configure your shipping zones (UK mainland, Highlands, Northern Ireland, etc.) and integrate with carriers for live rates where available. We can also set up local delivery zones if you offer same-day or next-day delivery in your area.
Yes. WooCommerce integrates with most major couriers for automated tracking updates. Customers receive email updates with tracking numbers, and can check order status in their account area on your site.
We set up a clear returns policy page and configure WooCommerce accordingly. You can set individual product warranties. For trade accounts, you can configure different return policies for B2B vs B2C customers.
Customers visit your booking page (either embedded on your website or our standalone version), select a service, choose an available time slot, and enter their details. The booking appears in your diary instantly, and your customer receives a confirmation SMS.
No app downloads required for customers. Works on any device with a browser.
Automatic SMS reminders are sent 48 hours before and on the morning of the appointment. Customers can reply "CANCEL" to free up the slot if their plans change. Workshops using SMS reminders see no-show rates drop from 15-20% to under 5%.
The system uses UK mobile networks and supports standard rate replies (no premium numbers).
Customers enter their vehicle registration number, and the system automatically looks up the make, model, year, and engine from DVLA records. This eliminates errors from manual entry (wrong make/model entered by mistake) and speeds up the booking process.
Every booking automatically generates a job card containing:
Your team can update job card status (booked, in progress, completed, invoiced) throughout the day.
Yes. You configure your working hours per day of the week, slot duration per service type, and buffer time between bookings. For example: MOTs might be 90-minute slots, an oil change could be 30 minutes, and you might not offer Saturday afternoon bookings.
Yes. MOT bookings are fully supported. You can set MOT-specific slots, link them to your DVSA testing station details, and configure MOT reminders. The system is designed to meet DVSA requirements for MOT booking records.
Your workshop diary shows all bookings in a day/week view. You can see at a glance: booked slots, available slots, cancelled appointments, and completed jobs. You can manually block out time for holidays or unexpected closures.
Yes. We provide an embeddable booking widget that can be placed on any existing website — WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, custom sites, or your current CMS. The widget matches your site's styling where possible. Alternatively, we can set you up with a standalone booking page.
You can cancel or reschedule any booking from your diary. If you cancel, the customer automatically receives an SMS notification. For rescheduling, you can update the slot and the customer will be informed.
The booking system is mobile-responsive and works well on phones and tablets. A dedicated mobile app is on our roadmap for future development. Currently, you can manage bookings from any browser on any device.
We offer six purpose-built templates for UK automotive businesses:
All templates include mobile-first responsive design, local SEO structure, and appropriate functionality for their niche.
A DIY website builder (Wix, Squarespace, GoDaddy) gives you pre-made blocks that you fill with your own content. A template from us is a complete, pre-designed website that we customise with your branding, content, products, and settings — then hand over to you. You don't start from a blank canvas.
We also handle the technical setup (hosting, SSL, forms, integrations) which DIY builders require you to figure out yourself.
Yes, but it would be treated as a new project with associated costs, as it involves redesign and re-development. That's why we start with a free consultation to make sure you choose the right template before we begin. Once you're live, minor changes and additions are included in your ongoing Site Service Plan.
Templates include placeholder images from stock photo libraries. We can arrange professional photography as an add-on (quoted separately), or you can provide your own images. For restoration specialists using the Classic Restoration template, we recommend professional photography to showcase craftsmanship effectively.
Yes. Book a free consultation and we'll walk you through each template with examples. You can also see screenshots and descriptions on our templates page.
All templates are built with SEO best practices: fast loading speeds, semantic HTML, mobile-first design, schema markup, and local SEO structure. We also configure your Google Business profile and submit your sitemap to Google Search Console during launch.

Exact scope is confirmed after your free audit. Book your free audit for a personalised quote.
From £49/month, the Site Service Plan covers:
It does not cover major new features, custom development, or redesigns (quoted separately).
Booking SaaS starts from £49/month with tiered plans:
Up to 50 bookings/month, SMS reminders, DVLA lookup, email support
Unlimited bookings, priority support, custom branding, API access
Multi-location, white-label option, dedicated account manager, advanced reporting
Start a 14-day free trial — no card required.
No setup fees for the Starter plan. Professional and Business plans include complimentary onboarding (usually 1 hour via video call) to get your services, diary, and SMS templates configured.
Both the e-commerce build and booking SaaS are month-to-month after any initial build period. You can cancel your Site Service Plan or booking SaaS subscription at any time (note: if hosting is included in your e-commerce plan, your site would need alternative hosting to stay online).
For builds over £3,000, we can split payments across three stages: deposit (40%), midway milestone (30%), and launch (30%). Builds under £3,000 are typically paid 50% upfront, 50% on launch.
The 20-minute audit call is a focused conversation where we:
There's no hard sell. If we're not a good fit for your needs, we'll tell you.
A few things help us make the most of the call:
The booking SaaS trial gives you full access to the system for 14 days. You'll need to provide your garage name, email, and mobile number. The trial is fully functional — you can set up your services, configure your diary, and even test SMS on your own phone number.
No credit card is required. At the end of 14 days, you decide whether to subscribe. If you don't, your trial data is retained for 30 days in case you change your mind.
After your audit and quote sign-off:
Timelines assume timely feedback and asset provision from your side.
For e-commerce builds, we typically need:
Yes. Every build includes a training session (via video call or screen recording) where we walk you through managing your site. For e-commerce, this covers adding products, processing orders, and managing trade accounts. For booking SaaS, this covers diary management, booking settings, and SMS templates.
Site Service Plan subscribers get email support during UK business hours (response within 1 business day). Emergency support for critical issues (site down, payment failures) is available for all customers regardless of plan.
For booking SaaS subscribers, support is included at your plan level (email for Starter, priority for Professional/Business).
Yes. You can subscribe at any time during the trial. Your trial data transfers seamlessly to your paid account — no reconfiguration needed.
Yes. If you have existing hosting (GoDaddy, SiteGround, Ionos, cPanel, etc.), we can deploy your new site there. We can also migrate your existing site to our preferred hosting partner if you'd prefer to let us handle everything.
For WooCommerce sites, we recommend hosting with at least 2GB RAM and SSD storage for optimal performance.
You can keep your existing domain and just point it to your new site, or we can help you register a new domain. DNS changes typically take 24-48 hours to propagate globally, but usually take effect within a few hours in the UK.
We handle the technical DNS configuration — you just need to update the nameservers or transfer the domain if you want us to manage it.
SSL (HTTPS) is included with all our hosting solutions. We configure and renew certificates automatically — no action needed from you. For customers using their own hosting, we install and configure SSL during deployment.
Yes. If you already have email hosting (through your domain registrar, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, etc.), we configure your site to send emails using your existing email setup. If you don't have email hosting, we can recommend and help set up Google Workspace or a similar service.
Yes. We can migrate existing WordPress sites to our hosting and rebuild them using our templates. The process includes exporting your pages, posts, images, and product data, then importing and restructuring them in the new build. We'll discuss what's worth migrating vs. starting fresh during your audit.
For WooCommerce e-commerce sites:
For booking SaaS:
If your site is hosted with us, our monitoring systems will alert us automatically to most outages. For urgent issues, email us immediately with details of the problem.
If you're on your own hosting, common causes of downtime include expired hosting renewals, SSL certificate issues, or server errors. Check with your hosting provider first, then contact us if you need emergency support.
